The Prague astronomical clock

• The clock was first installed in 1410, making it the third-oldest astronomical clock in the world and the oldest one still operating.

The Prague Castle

• Dating from the 9th century and the official residence of the President of the Czech Republic. The castle was a seat of power for kings of Bohemia, Holy Roman emperors, and presidents of Czechoslovakia. The Bohemian Crown Jewels are kept within a hidden room inside it.

Villa Tugendhat is a historical

building in the wealthy

neighbourhood of Černá Pole. It

was designed by the German

architect Ludwig Mies van der

Rohe between 1928 and 1930 for

Fritz Tugendhat and his wife

Greta, the villa soon became an

icon of modernism. It was

inscribed in the UNESCO List in

2001.

SLOUP V ČECHÁCH IS A HISTORIC ROCK CASTLE NEARBY ČESKÁ LÍPA FROM 13TH CENTURY.

-Terezín is a small town near Litoměřice. -In the past Terezín was a big prison and then concentration camp for Judes.

In the present is Terezín ordinary town and turist center. There are lot of expositions and exhibitions from 2nd Word War.

It is worth seeing , but it´s too sad for weak character.

◦ Castle Lednice is situated in south part of the Czech

republic.

◦ More accurately it is in village called Lednice.

◦ It stays on the right shore of river Dyje.

◦ This castle with really large garden is sorted to most beautiful

complexes in the whole country.

◦ Lednice castle is one of the most important expressions of high

romanticism in Czech territory.

◦ In December 1996 was registered in the entire Lednice-the

UNESCO World Heritage List.

• Olomouc is a city in Moravia, in the east of the Czech Republic.

• Located on the Morava River, the city is the ecclesiastical metropolis and historical capital city of Moravia.

• The city has about 102,000 residents, and its larger urban zone has a population of about 480,000 people.

• built in 1716–1754 in honour of God

• In 2000 it was inscribed on the UNESCO

World Heritage List

• The column is dominated by gilded copper

sculptures of the Holy Trinity accompanied

by the Archangel Gabriel on the top and the

Assumption of the Virgin beneath it.
