TVB and StarHub organize the “StarHub Roadshow”

And kick off the StarHub TVB Awards

Myolie Wu, Kenneth Ma and Ruco Chan arrive in Singapore for promotion

(Hong Kong – 2012/07/10) TVB and StarHub collaborate in broadcasting qualified TV programs.

StarHub TVB Awards, the annual international events organized by the two media, draws media’s

attention. This year, in view of one of the StarHub channels – VV Drama’s 20th anniversary, and the

promotion of 2012 StarHub TVB Awards, TVB and StarHub invited TVB artistes Myolie Wu, Kenneth

Ma and Ruco Chan participate in a series of promotional events starting from 30th Jun to 2

nd Jul, one of

which would be the “StarHub Roadshow” held on 1st July in Singapore, kicking off this year’s StarHub

TVB Awards.

On the first day (30th Jun), TVB artistes Myolie Wu, Kenneth Ma and Ruco Chan arrived at Singapore

and participated in the press conference. Later, on the next day(1st Jul), “StarHub Roadshow” was held in

Plaza Singapura Shopping Mall, inviting the artistes taking part in the event. It begins with the artistes

greeting the guests and the audience. They further shared the dramas they had participated: Wish and

Switch, the Hippocratic Crush and No Good Either Way. After the sharing session, they brought the

guests and the audience three songs. Their singing filled the guests and the fans in elation. As to prolong

their high spirits, the artistes further invited the guests to play a puzzle game with them. The game

required them to compete finishing the puzzle within a limited period of time. Three teams competed with

each other and the fans cheered for their artistes. The Plaza was filled with laughs and cheers. Finally, the

artistes took photo with the guests, which drew the event to a harmonious close.

To express the appreciation to the audience, Myolie Wu, Kenneth Ma and Ruco Chan joined the “Home

Surprise Attack”. Arranged by StarHub, Kenneth Ma, Ruco Chan dressed casually and brought along a

box of 20 cupcakes, symbolizing the 20th anniversary of VVD. Meanwhile, Myolie Wu hid herself for

giving another big surprise. The selected audience was a fan of TVB, having watched TVB programs for

over 20 years. Since she admired TVB artistes very much, she was overwhelmed with joy when she saw

Kenneth Ma and Ruco Chan outside her house. She was further surprised by the sudden appearance of

Myolie Wu! Afterwards, she invited the three artistes into her house. They received a warm welcome and

chatted with each other. The selected audience performed the theme song of the Hippocratic Crush to

show her appreciation to the artistes, which was enjoyed by them.

On 2nd

Jul, Myolie Wu, Kenneth Ma and Ruco Chan participated in the Radio interview, marking the

3-day promotion events had finally come to an end. Myolie Wu, Kenneth Ma and Ruco Chan are pleased

with having the opportunity to have interaction with the audience. They are also glad to have the chance

to pay a visit to the audience’s home and to feel the support from her.

StarHub TVB Awards, being one of the international annual events, will be held on 18th Aug. As a TVB
