A stitch in time saves nine
BEFORE
(1)Move heavy furniture away from beds and sofas.
(2)Fix shelves, bookcases and other tall furniture to the walls.
(3)Hang pictures and mirrors with closed hooks.
(4)Put heavy objects on lower shelves of the furniture.
(5 )Learn the location of control points of gas, water and electricity
and how to turn them off.
(6 )All family members should know First Aid.
(7 )Identify the safest places in your house where take over in the case of
an earthquake: the doorway, the corners of the walls, under the table
or under the bed.
(8 )Keep in your home an emergency kit, a flashlight and make sure
everyone knows where they are located.
(9 )Emergency supplies and equipment should be set
aside.
(10 )Locate safe places outside which are: open place away from buildings,
trees, electricity and telephones poles and lines
