Karlstad University
Is one among 14 Swedish universities.
It belongs to the group of the 4 youngest ones.
Its roots are eg. teacher education since 1843 and a nursing college since 1907.
The University also has a campus in Arvika, about 90 km from Karlstad, where the Ingesund School of Music with its 300 students is located.
Today the University offer more than 70 programmes and 900 courses (modules or combinations of modules).
