AITEX is a non-profit making association created in Alcoy in1985 thanks to an initiative of the local industry and theGeneralitat Valenciana (Regional government) through theValencia Enterprises Competitiveness Institute (IVACE). Itsultimate aim is to make this sector more competitive. Toachieve this, the Institute promotes modernization actionsand the introduction of new and emerging technologiesand, in general, any initiatives that will contribute to theindustrial progress of the sector.
The work carried out by the Institute is closely linked to thesector’s industries, either through the advanced technicalservices offered by the Institute (consultancy, market,certification, quality control, training, etc.), the confidentialresearch project developed at the request of differentcompanies or the project financed by public funding, inwhich case the results benefit the sector as a whole.
