OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD In partnership with our ankor Youth Group, the Women's Fellowship Coordinating Team is working on this year's Operation Christmas Child project. Every Sunday through November 13th we will have an infor-mation table between services with brochures, shoe boxes and instruc-tions. You will have the opportunity to fill the boxes with small needed item (suggested items will be listed). This is an excellent way to give Christmas gifts to millions of boys and girls in more than 100 countries in various parts of the world. These children are POOR AND IN GREAT NEED. Please stop by the table today. You will be spiritually blessed knowing you helped a very poor, needy child. Our goal is to fill and ship 160 shoe boxes from our church. The deadline for turning in your filled shoe boxes is Sunday, November 13th. You may also pick up a empty shoe box or turn in a filled shoe box at the church office during the week. PLEASE HELP US REACH OUR GOAL OF 160 BOXES. THANK YOU!
OPERATION TURKEY Your $10 donation to Interfaith Food
Ministry will provide a turkey or large chicken (depending on family
size) plus trimmings to needy families in Western Nevada County registered for
assistance this year. IFM networks with other agencies to avoid duplication.
Please make your check payable to Sierra Presbyterian Church and reference
“Operation Turkey” in the memo field. $10 will make this possible for Thanksgiving and Christmas!
MESSIAH is coming…. December 4th
3:00pm and 6:00pm Tickets will go on sale beginning next Sunday
