9:00 am - 10:00 am

Student  Session  1  -­‐  “Introduc*on  to  Prep”  Students  will  be  allocated  to  groups.  Lists  indica5ng  your  child’s  group,  the  room  in  which  they  will  be  working    and  a  name  badge  will  be  available  at  tables  manned  by  our  Student  Leaders    in  the  Prep  Centre  foyer.

Parents  are  welcome  to  remain  with  their  child  during  this  ac6vity.

Tuesday 11th September

9:00 am - 10:00 am

Student  Session  2  -­‐  “Discovery  Learning”Students  will  be  involved  in  a  variety  of  Discovery  Learning  ac5vi5es.  

Parent  Informa6on  Session  1  –  “A  Day  in  Prep.”    

Monday 15th October

6:30pm - 8:00pm

Parent  Informa6on  Night  –  “Student  Learning”Four  rota5ng  workshop  style  presenta5ons:  Workshop  1:  NumeracyWorkshop  2:  LiteracyWorkshop  3:  Interac5ve  Whiteboard  Workshop  4:  Specialist  Classes

Student  Session  3  -­‐  “Literacy”  Students  will  be  involved  in  a  variety  of  Literacy  ac5vi5es.  These  ac5vi5es  will  relate  to  a  “Big  Book”  which  will  be  read  at  the  commencement  of  the  session.

Students  will  be  involved  in  a  variety  of  Numeracy  ac5vi5es  with  their  Grade  4  ‘Buddies’.

Student  Session    5  -­‐    “Specialist  Sessions  &  Teddy  Bears’  Picnic”

Students  will  par5cipate  in  Music,  Art  &  Phys  Ed  ac5vi5es  with  the  Specialist  Teachers.  A  Teddy  Bears’  Picnic  will  be  held  in  the  Prep  Playground  with  the  Grade  4  “Buddies.”
