Instructions06
Instructions
+
Use the basic fixator principals
Instructions (before the operation)
• Recommended to place Ring hole #1 most anteriorly.
• Recommended the rings to be aligned rotationally,
hole #1 in proximal ring is approximately above
hole #1 in distal ring.

Data Entry - Rings & Struts & Configuration and Lengths
Simple drop-down menus facilitate data entry
Data Entry - Frame Modeling
Web software creates graphic images of the specific construct
X-Ray Parameters
• AP and Lateral x-ray images should be taken
• Both rings shoud contact to the x-ray cartridge, if not, the gap in between should be measured and
recorded into the software
• X-ray tube shoud be centered into the focus zone while imagining
Data Entry - X-ray Parameters
Can be taken at surgery or later
Overlaying X-Ray on the calibrated template
Software creates easy to manipulate images, allowing for fast alignment of X-ray and computer image!
• Software creates easy to manipulate images, allowing for fast homologation of X-ray and computer image
• Software creates easy to manipulate images, allowing for fast alignment of X-ray and computer image
Deformity Parameters - Deformed Segment Entry
• «Click» to select the deformity segments on-screen with your mouse (or your finger on an iPad)
Deformity Parameters – Deformed Segment Entry
Deformity Parameters - Distraction & Rotation
Correction Schedule
The correction step and the starting date need to be submitted.
Correction Schedule
• Moving graphics show frame through correction progression
• Patient specific treatment chart generated with days and dates
• Strut changes are highlighted in blue (shorter) and yellow (longer)
• E-mail and print options
