paintings , screen painting, films …) /created the « Factory » , an artistic workshop where artists could meet and create.
His artwork : collages , photos, paintings of ordinary objects or
stars.His most famous artwork is known as «
Campbell's Soup » (1962), 32 paintings
representing soup cans which reminded him of
his childhood.
Roy LICHTENSTEIN , an American artist ( painter, sculptor) who ( 1923/1997) made posters, paintings, sculptures, installations).He used the dot technique . He was inspired by cartoons, superheroes from marvels and
the symbols of the American modern society : « Look Mickey »(1961) , « In the
Car »(1963)
Duane HANSON , an American sculptor ( 1925/1996) who sculpted realistic
artwork representing modern America
( shopping, sports ...) ( « Supermarket
Lady » ) . He used resin, wax, fiberglass
or bronze.
David HOCKNEY (1937) painted superficial life in Los Angeles ( pools, colourful trees …). His paintings are realistic and look like photos. : «
