Thank you for supporting quality theater for young people!
SECOND STAGECongratulations to all students who were invited to audition for NWCT’s Studio programs! Studio JR and Studio NW are advanced training programs for actors 9-11 and 12-14. These advanced programs are designed to give young performers hands-on training with professional guest artists and NWCT staff. Through advanced instruction, specialized workshops, and performance opportunities, Studio JR and Studio NW members will develop their craft, strengthen their technique, and expand their skill set. This year, Studio members will receive training in improv, script analysis, vocal technique, and dance. Join us for our fall and winter productions in which they will put what they’ve learned into practice!
SATURDAY CLASSESSaturdays have always been our most popular class day so this year we’re giving you more Saturday options! New this season, all of our Theater School classes will be on Saturday. Times are changing as well, to accommodate the extra classes
— and allow passing periods to make check out and drop off easier — so be sure to check the schedule. You’ll also notice our new, longer class: Theater on the Edge. This intensive is for serious students interested in learning more about “fringe” elements of theater. This fall, we’ll be sinking our teeth into film: commercial auditions, film-making, and special effects. We hope you’ll join us…on the edge!
