METHOD OF CONTROL

Atlantide Sauna, located in Paris Bastille, received a remodel in 2011. The dynamic lighting with red LEDs

throughout the premises, creates a unique environment and magical atmosphere. In collaboration with

lighting design firm Light Head, Atlantide Sauna selected Traxon to create an innovative space with an

illuminated ceiling cube in the main corridor, consisting of 16 Traxon 16PXL Board RGB installed inside a

steam-proof box. The one square-meter lightcube with changing lighting effects and colours evokes a calming

yet hypnotic mood. The installation is controlled with an e:cue Butler, a DMX512 engine, allowing the lighting

designers to fulfill their vision through playback and looping of pre-programmed lighting shows created with

the e:cue Lighting Application Suite. Atlantide Sauna's installation is programmed with nine graphic animations

displaying different lighting effects throughout the day, allowing guests to escape their daily routine whilst

relaxing in a soothing Sauna Hammam environment.
