The Holy Spirit and You Many Christians are uncertain or even confused when faced with a question about the Holy Spirit. He seems vague and ghostlike. You know — “the Holy Ghost.” On the other hand, there are those who seem almost too cer-tain about the Holy Spirit and become dogmatic in their beliefs. The Holy Spirit is neither a puzzle nor a battle-
ground. He is one of the persons of the Holy Trinity. We can know Him as we know the Father and the Son, Jesus Christ. DVD $15, now $8

How Great the Name/ S. C. Smith & D. Moffitt / arr. R. MauldinAll Hail the Power words, E. Perronet; music, O. Holde How great the name that has broken through our darkness, Light of the world rising up for all to see. Your name is life; you have conquered every weakness. All hail the power of the name that sets us free.
Chorus You are crowned with every crown. Every trophy we lay down. All will worship at the sound of ‘Jesus’. Mighty King and Calvary’s Lamb, risen Savior, Great I am. All of heaven and earth proclaim how great the name: Jesus! How great the name that is pardon to the guilty. Your name is love, ever faithful to redeem, For on the cross when you cried out, “It is finished,” You triumphed over death and rose in victory. Chorus
(Congregation and Choir on ‘All Hail the Power’) All hail the power of Jesus name! Let angels prostrate fall. Bring forth the royal diadem, and crown him Lord of all. Bring forth the royal diadem, and crown him Lord of all!
Let every kindred, every tribe on this terrestrial ball, To him all majesty ascribe, and crown him Lord of all. To him all majesty ascribe, and crown him Lord of all
(Choir only) How great the day when we’re standing in Your presence, When every tear is a fading memory. Oh, we will rest in the arms of our Salvation, And this will be our song for all eternity. Chorus
Be Still and Know S. C. Chapman / arr. T. Fettke Be still and know that He is God. Be still and know that He is holy. Be still O restless soul of mine, bow before the Prince of Peace, Let the noise and clamor cease.
Be still and know that He is God. Be still and know that He is faithful. Consider all that He has done, stand in awe and be amazed, And know that He will never change. Be still.
Be still and know that He is God. Be still and know that He is God. Be still and know that He is God. Be still, be speechless.
12
Be still and know that He is God. Be still and know He is our Father. Come, rest your head upon His breast, Listen to the rhythm of His unfailing heart of love beating for His little ones, Calling each of us to come. Be still. Be still.
Come, Thou Jesu arr. J. Purifoy Come, thou long expected Jesus, born to set Thy people free. From our fears and sins release us, let us find our rest in Thee.
Jesu, Joy of our desiring, holy wisdom, love most bright. Drawn by Thee, our souls aspiring soar to uncreated light.
Come, Thou long expected Jesus, born to set Thy people free. Come to earth to taste our sadness, He whose glories know no end.
By His life He brings us gladness, our Redeemer, Shepherd, Friend. Israel’s strength and consolation, hope of all the earth Thou art. Dear desire of every nation, joy of every longing heart. Born Thy people to deliver, born a Child and yet a King.
Wonderful, Merciful Savior words and music, D. Rodgers & E. Wyse; arr. S. Mauldin Wonderful, merciful Savior; Precious Redeemer and Friend. Who would have thought that a Lamb could rescue the souls of men? Oh, You rescue the souls of men.
Counselor, Comforter, Keeper, Spirit we long to embrace. You offer hope when our hearts have hopelessly lost our way. Oh, we’ve hopelessly lost our way.
Chorus You are the one that we praise. You are the one we adore. You give the healing and grace our hearts always hunger for, Oh, our hearts always hunger for.
Almighty, Infinite Father, faithfully loving Your own, Here in our weakness You find us falling before Your throne. Oh, we’re falling before Your throne. Chorus
This Is My Word (Isaiah 55:10-12) P. Choplin As the snow falls from heaven, as it comes in swirling showers from the sky, So is my Word. As the rains bring the water to the earth that is thirsty and dry, So is my Word.
13
Chorus And the Word of my mouth, it shall not return empty; It will bless the earth wherever it is heard. This is my Word.
As the rains bring renewal, and the tender buds begin to come alive, So is my Word. Giving seed to the sower, and the bread to the hungry till they thrive, So is my Word, so is my Word. Chorus Oh Lord, when I am weary, when I feel the days I’m living are in vain, My God, help me be faithful to the Word You have given to proclaim.
And you will go out in joy and be led forth in peace, And the hills will break before you into song. So be faithful, brave, and true, for I will go before you. And when your earthly journey here is done, I’ll say well done, I’ll say well done, I’ll say well done, well done!
As the snow falls from heaven, and the rain comes in showers from the sky, This is my Word. My Word.
He Will Hold Me Fast words, A. R. Habershon and M. Merker music, M. Merker arr. T. Fettke He will hold me fast, He will hold me fast; for my Savior loves me so, He will hold me fast.
When I fear my faith will fail, Christ will hold me fast; when the tempter would prevail, He will hold me fast. I could never keep my hold through life’s fearful path; for my love is often cold; He must hold me fast.
Congregation and Choir He will hold me fast, He will hold me fast; for my Savior loves me so, He will hold me fast.
Men Those He saves are His delight, Ladies Christ will hold me fast; Men Precious in his holy sight, Ladies He will hold me fast.
14
All He’ll not let my soul be lost; His promises shall last; bought by Him at such a cost, He will hold me fast.
Congregation and Choir (through the end) For my life He bled and died, Christ will hold me fast; justice has been satisfied; He will hold me fast. Raised with Him to endless life, He will hold me fast ‘till our faith is turned to sight, when He comes at last!
He will hold me fast, He will hold me fast; for my Savior loves me so, He will hold me fast.
He will hold me fast, He will hold me fast; for my Savior loves me so, He will hold me fast.

If Christians are to have any impact on the world, they must think and act biblically! Alliance Friends provide sound,
biblical teaching through broadcasting, events, and publishing. As a Friend you will share the Gospel, providing the opportunity
for the Holy Spirit to change minds, touch hearts, and help bring change to believers and non-believers alike.
