Volunteers
• Establish and register your team helpers with the Executive • Assistant Manager – Assist you in training/ coaching etc.• Team Representative – Support the team from an admin perspective.• Linesman – ask a couple of your team to operate the line. Training is available,
contact your Managers Representative.• First Aider – Someone trained in first aid, can be the manager or assistant
manager. • Match Reporter – Someone to write the match reports & send to the papers.
• All new team helpers, including you, complete The FA Personal Disclosure Form
• All new team helpers, including you, complete the CRB forms. These forms are available from the Child Welfare Officer. Contact [email protected] .
• Organise your FA Level 1 Coaching Certificate. This must be completed within the first season of becoming a manager/coach.
• The club will pay for the course once completed. Claim this back using an expense form.
Administration Subscriptions
• Subs are a source of club income and must be collected on a regular basis.
• Training subs are charged whether the player attends training or not. This is to cover the initial outlay for winter training venues at a cost of approx £8-10k per season – this is part of signing on fee.
• Subs are charged for training, league matches and six-a-side tournaments.
• Subs must be collected from playing participants by the Team Representative and recorded on the monthly Revenue Form (can be downloaded from the Managers Corner on the website).
• Subs must be handed in at the monthly Football & Social Committee Meeting, accompanied by a completed Revenue Form (can be downloaded from the Managers Corner on the website).
• The subs charge is agreed at the AGM.
Administration Paying the Referee
• Referees are paid only for home matches.
• Referees are paid from the team’s subs collection and recorded on the monthly form.
• Make a note of the Referees name on the form.
• The Referee charges are agreed at by the Leagues.
Administration Match Reports
• Match Reports should always be headed ‘PTJ – U9 Pumas, or PTJ – U9A’s.• Within the body of the text the shorthand for example ‘Pumas made a fantasic…’
must always be replaced by ‘Town made a fantastic…’. • Match reports should be 100-150 words • Expect the report edited depending on space in the paper.• End each match report with the team line-up - starting with goalkeeper, defenders,
midfielders, strikers and substitutes. • If there are two or more surnames that are the same, use the first letter of player's first
name in front of surname (i.e. P Smith, E Smith).
• For the main part of the report provide a description of the game and try to include details of the league/division. Describe what happened in the match, trying to give descriptions of how the goals were scored and any other major incidents.
• Send pictures in a jpeg format and no bigger than 2mb. • The Petersfield Post 33 High Street Petersfield Petersfield Herald24 High Street.
Petersfield • Match reports should be e-mailed by midday on Mondays.
Administration Expenses
• Expenses must be pre-agreed by an Officer of the club prior to any expense incurred. The club will not accept liability if authorization was not sought by the following officers; Chairman, Secretary or Treasurer.
• Claims must be made using the expense form (can be downloaded from the information section on the website).
Administration Committee Meetings
• Managers Meeting held first First of every month during the football season starting in September.
• All Teams must send a representative to these meetings.
• Executive Meetings – Every other month during the football season starting in August.
• AGM is held on the 2nd Friday in July – Open to Members, Committee Members and Vice Presidents.
