Linking Families to Resources that Support Student Achievement
Parent Resource Guide
Parent Resource Guide 2015-‐2016
This Parent Resource Guide was created to support student achievement by linking families to services, resources and information that helps reduce and eliminate barriers to learning. Information in this guide will be updated on the Durham Public Schools (DPS) Family Academy web page, www.dpsnc.net and click the "Parent Resource" tab. Durham Public Schools Family Academy and Title I Offices worked collaboratively to develop this guide for parents. These offices partner with school leadership, parents, community agencies, businesses, and educational institutions to help every child graduate from high school prepared for a career, college, and life. We also connect families to classes, services, and resources that empower parents with information that supports the teaching, learning, and graduation goals of their children.
