Questions and Answers
THE CHERRY CREEK DIAMOND CLUB
HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL AND THE CHERRY CREEK DIAMOND CLUB
The Cherry Creek Diamond Club supports the Cherry Creek High School baseball program in several ways. With school district athletic budgets at almost non-existent levels, it is imperative that our booster club (the parents) support our High School baseball program. The Cherry Creek Diamond Club is a volunteer parent driven baseball booster club program. The sole purpose of our booster club is to support players in their development throughout the high school baseball years. CCDC has several key responsibilities that support this sole purpose. These responsibilities include: uniform purchases, program book production, equipment purchases, baseball field maintenance, internet broadcasts, video contracting, merchandise sales, snack shack sales, fund raising, Jog-a-thon organization, and scholarship programs. A Diamond Fee of $175.00 will be collected from each player at Spirit Day to support and enhance the baseball program each year. The Diamond Club is proud to sponsor Cherry Creek Baseball's annual Spirit Day breakfast which officially starts a new season of baseball.
SUMMER BASEBALL AND THE CHERRY CREEK DIAMOND CLUB
In addition to supporting our High School baseball team, the Diamond Club is directly responsible for overseeing the support of our summer baseball programs. Summer baseball teams have been a source for players to develop and enhance skills and baseball knowledge. The Diamond Club sponsors the annual Cherry Creek Classic in June. The Tournament is a National Qualifier to the AABC Regional in late summer. In addition, Cherry Creek has been the host site for the National AABC 17 Qualifier that feeds to the Don Mattingly World Series in August. The Diamond Club supports all of our teams with field maintenance and enhancements. The summer baseball teams are as follows: Connie Mack 18U, Connie Mack 17U, AABC 16U, AABC 15U.
