This demonstration will provide older adults with a variety of safe and effective exercises to improvecardiovascular health, strength and balance. Exercises will specifically address stability, mobility andmovement training. Active adult class options at the YMCA will be provided.

9:00 a.m. Delmar Pop Warner Cheerleading Jennifer Wheatley-Head Coach
Pop Warner Cheerleading will be celebrating its 30th year hosting the national cheerleading championshipsin Walt Disney World where more than 450 teams will be performing throughout the six-day event in variousage and skill divisions. There are teams from Russia, Guam, and Mexico who make the trip to the nationalchampionships every year to see who will be crowned the next Pop Warner National Champion. In 2013,Delmar Pop Warner became the first team from Delmar and Delaware to compete and be crowned Co-edNational Champions. Come see what these young people can do!
9:45 a.m. Jump Rope DemoPinehurst Panther Jump Team
The "Power Panthers” are a team made up of students in grades 2-5 that are sponsored by the American HeartAssociation. They travel throughout the local counties to perform jump rope shows that promote health andfitness. They also promote the Jump for Heart and Hoops for Heart Programs that many schools participate in.This is the youngest team in the state of Maryland, and the squad has been participating for the past 25 years.

There is a unique spirit at D’Ann Danse Studios that seems to bring out the best in people. Our 2018 Healthfestperformance features dancers ages 5-14. Entitled "Come Alive," our performance features musical theaterdances from a variety of award winning Broadway shows."
