Catholic League for Persons with Disabilities (CLPD)
The League's primary purpose is to
address the pastoral concerns of persons
with disabilities. CLPD has 6 meetings
throughout the year and sponsors an
annual Communion Mass Luncheon, Day
of Recollection and various socials. For

BRIEF HISTORY
Our Lady of Confidence Retreat Group made
their first retreat in 1964 at Malvern Retreat
House in Malvern, PA. The retreat has been
held every year since then.
MISSION STATEMENT
To conduct an annual three day, two night
Christian Retreat that will give men and
woman the opportunity to discover, renew
or increase their faith in our Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ through the intercession of his
Blessed Mother ‘Our Lady of Confidence.’
The goal is to provide a meaningful retreat
experience for adults with disabilities. This
retreat is geared for adults with intellectual,
physical, emotional, social or economic disa-
bilities. Various religious, spiritual, and social
activities will be conducted in a serene envi-
ronment within comfortable, accessible facili-
ties.
Friends will be available to assist and monitor
physical needs and accommodations. At least
one, usually two or three, Registered Nurses
will be on site throughout the entire retreat.
COST
The Laymen’s Retreat League has supported
Our Lady of Confidence (OLC) Retreat by
granting a substantial subsidy. An anonymous
free will donation is requested during the re-
treat. Any other contribution for the OLC
Retreat will be sincerely appreciated. No one
is, or ever has been denied the opportunity to
attend due to an inability to contribute financially.

House is a Catholic re-
treat house for men,
women, families, married couples, religious
and clergy. It is also a place where Chris-
tian people strengthen and renew their
personal relationship with Jesus Christ,
self and others.
