Below are questions frequently asked about InterCall Reservationless-Plus (Res-Plus, an operator-free solution) audio conferencing:

WHEN SHOULD I USE RES-PLUS CONFERENCING?

Use Res-Plus conferencing any time you are hosting meetings of up to 125 participants and do not require a reservation or an operator.

HOW MANY PARTICIPANTS CAN I HAVE ON AN RES-PLUS CONFERENCE?

You can have up to 125 participants on a Res-Plus conference. Participant number 126 and above would be blocked. For conferences greater than 125 participants, you must use Operator-Assisted audio conferencing.

HOW DO I SCHEDULE A CONFERENCE?

No reservations are required. Just give your participants of the following: Date and time of conference call Global Access dial-in number(s) Conference Code Security Passcode (You must select and distribute a Security Passcode for every conference you host.)

WHERE CAN I ACCESS MY GLOBAL ACCESS DIAL-IN NUMBERS?

To maximize cost savings it is important that you and your participants select the dial-in numbers provided for your respective countries. To access your Global Access dial-in numbers:

1 Go to http://my.oracle.com/oracle_global_conferencing. 2 Click Res-Plus Global Access Numbers.

HOW DO I START A CONFERENCE?

To start a conference: 1 Dial your Global Access dial-in number.

(To maximize cost savings select the dial-in numbers provided for your country.) 1 Enter your Conference Code followed by #. 2 Press * to identify yourself as the Leader. 3 Enter your Leader PIN followed by #. 4 Press 1 to begin your conference or press 2 to change your default conference

options. 5 Enter the Security Passcode followed by #.

HOW DO PARTICIPANTS JOIN MY CONFERENCE?

Instruct participants to do the following: 1 Dial your Global Access dial-in number.

(To maximize cost savings select the dial-in numbers provided for your country.) 2 Enter Conference Code followed by #. 3 Enter the Security Passcode followed by #.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I CANNOT REMEMBER MY LEADER PIN AND I NEED TO START A CONFERENCE?

After entering an incorrect Leader PIN three times you are transferred to an operator. To receive your Leader PIN you must give the operator your:

Conference Code First and last name E-mail address.

The operator will then e-mail the Leader PIN to the e-mail address on the account.

HOW DO I ACCESS OR CHANGE MY LEADER PIN?

To access or change your Leader PIN: 1 Go to https://oracle.intercallonline.com. 2 Log in to your account

(the first time you must log in by entering your Owner Number in the Username field and your Web PIN in the Password field.)

3 Click Manage Your Account. 4 Click View/Edit Owner Information. 5 Click View/Change Product Settings. 6 Access and change your Leader PIN.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF MY OWNER NUMBER?

Your Owner Number is assigned to you by InterCall and is your unique identifier.

You may need this number when you call the InterCall help desk. The very first time you go to https://oracle.intercallonline.com to retrieve your Leader PIN, you will enter your Owner Number instead of a Username.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I CANNOT REMEMBER MY OWNER NUMBER?

Your Owner Number was e-mailed to you as part of your Welcome Letter from the Oracle Global Audio Conferencing Team. You need this information only to set up your account on www.intercallonline.com. Call InterCall Technical Assistance for help. Be prepared to provide:

Your company name E-mail address.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I CANNOT REMEMBER MY CONFERENCE CODE?

Your Conference Code was e-mailed to you as part of your Welcome Letter from the Oracle Global Audio Conferencing Team. Call InterCall Customer Support for help. Be prepared to provide:

Your company name E-mail address.

WHAT HAPPENS IF A WRONG CONFERENCE CODE IS ENTERED WHEN JOINING A CONFERENCE?

After entering an incorrect Conference Code three times you are transferred to an operator for assistance.

HOW DO I ACCESS OR CHANGE MY CONFERENCE CODE?

You may not change your Conference Code. To access your Conference Code:

1 Go to https://oracle.intercallonline.com. 2 Log in to your account. 3 Click Manage Your Account. 4 Click View/Edit Owner Information. 5 Click View Product Details.

CAN I REQUEST TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE DURING MY CONFERENCE?

At any time during your conference, you can request assistance by pressing *0 or 00 on your phone keypad. With:

*0 - a service representative will join the entire conference. 00 - a service representative will assist the individual requesting help.

WHAT ARE MY PHONE KEYPAD COMMANDS?

Once dialed into your conference use your telephone keypad to access the commands below:

00 Operator assistance - individual

*2 Begin / end conference record - Leader only

*3 Change entry or exit method (recorded names, tones, silence) - Leader only

*4 Private roll call

*5 / #5 Mute / Unmute all lines except Leader's - Leader only

*6 / #6 Mute / Unmute your own line

*7 / #7 Lock / Unlock conference (including operator) - Leader only

*8 Allow or disallow conference continuation - Leader only

*9 Start or join sub-conference

*51 / #51 Lecture mode on / off – Leader only

#99 Disconnect all lines except leader’s – Leader only

*# Private participant count

WILL GROUP MUTE WORK FOR PARTICIPANTS WHO JOIN MY CONFERENCE AFTER I EXECUTE THE COMMAND?

7 Yes, participants who join the conference after you invoke the Group Mute command (*5) will be muted.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN INTERCALL.COM AND ORACLE.INTERCALLONLINE.COM?

InterCall is the general site for features and documents about InterCall. InterCallOnline is where you can edit your account settings and request a Leader PIN

change.

HOW DO I ARCHIVE MY CONFERENCE FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND MY MEETING?

Record and Playback digitally records your Res-Plus conference for individuals who were unable to attend or for those who would like to listen to it again. Your cost center is charged for this service.

For easy 24/7 availability the recording can be accessed on the Internet or by dialing a toll-free number.

You may also purchase a CD, downloadable link or a transcription of your recording.
