From the President As I sit down to write my President’s message, an Islamic terrorist attack has just been launched at an airport and a metro station in Brussels Belgium, just blocks away from the NATO headquarters. A coincidence? Once again, President Obama’s reaction has been tepid. His response to these horrendous and
brutal attacks show his indifference and his pathetic disengagement to Islamic terrorism. After a few trite words of response, he could barely conceal his anticipation of returning to his vacation with human rights Violator in Chief, Communist leader Raul Castro. Just as Obama publicly shunned his fellow world leaders by refusing to attend the Sunday march in Paris following those Islamic terrorist attacks, not even deploying VP Biden or Secretary of State Kerry, he nonetheless remains in Havana enjoying his daughters’ spring break. Why cut his trip short, especially when the American people are once again funding his vacation?
Since the beginning of his term, Obama has lectured the American people about Islam, the “religion of peace.” Is it moral confusion since he spent his formative years living in Indonesia, a Muslim country? Is it his bizarre world view? He consistently downplays the existence of radical Islamic terrorism, both within the U.S. and worldwide. He chokes on the words, unable to label it what it truly is. Lining his administration with Muslims, some with ties to terror, Valerie Jarret’s family, for example, sanitizing references to Islam from descriptions of Acts of Terrorism, handcuffing federal agencies from investigating mosques and terrorist training camps within the U.S., systematically releasing dangerous terrorists from Guantanamo into the arms of their comrades, he thumbs his nose at the American people and our national security.
President Obama is not committed to the War on Islamic Terror. He thwarts it. He is not
leading the nation towards freedom, peace, and national security as his Oath of Office
commands. For the next ten months, he will remain our failed Commander in Chief.
American colonial revolutionary, Patrick Henry, wrote, “The liberties of a people never
were, nor ever will be secure, when the transactions of their rulers may be concealed
from them." God help us all.

From the First Vice President
Christian Genocide
My information for this article comes from the Media Research Center.
Pressure is now mounting on the Obama administration to declare
Christians as genocide victims of ISIS. Just ask any Christian
denomination - all will speak of it. Yet this administration hasn’t
decided it is. What else could it be? More “workplace violence?” If the U.S. government
officially declared the genocide was taking place against these minorities, it would put
further pressure on the United Nations Security Council to issue a similar declaration.
That could lead to trying perpetrators in the International Criminal Court. Secretary of
State John Kerry insisted “additional evaluation” would be needed before calling ISIS
persecution a “genocide.”
Last November, the glossy magazine of ISIS bluntly announced its “takfir” against
unbelievers would continue. “It will continue to wage war against the apostates until they
repent from apostasy.” They declare war against the pagans, against the Jews, and
against the Christians. The goal is plain: everyone will be Muslim, and the apostates will
be slaughtered.
How can it be that our media is so quick to condemn Americans’ pluralism and freedom
of religion as shamefully inadequate, while they hold ISIS and other Muslim persecutors
to no standard at all?
Failure to declare ISIS depredations as genocide makes America look weak and
indecisive. What can justify this unconscionable delay?

A great time was had by all at our March 19, 2016 Luncheon/Fashion Show fundraiser, DESERT JEWELS. A sea of bright desert colors greeted guests as they entered Briarwood Country Club’s main ballroom. Hostesses escorted guests to their tables walking past beautifully wrapped baskets and money trees being raffled. Vendors proudly displayed their wares of jewelry, purses and wearables. Sales were booming. Members and guests were visiting with friends while

FUNdraising is an important part of the agenda for each
Republican Woman’s Club. You notice I capitalized and made
bold the FUN part of this activity. Last week end was a perfect
example as Arrowhead RW hosted an annual event. The
luncheon and style show was well attended. Those attending
enjoyed a wonderful lunch as well as musical entertainment, shopping, raffles and
more! It was the result of a lot of hard work by many members. It was a lot of fun for the
attendees and I feel sure for those who worked to put it all together. Congratulations on
a job well done. Thanks to all who attended from other clubs. Again, the fun of seeing
friends was apparent.
Now we look forward to some more FUN as the members of Arrowhead and of Central
Republican Women of Phoenix plan a social event to share and become better
acquainted. Several members of each club have volunteered to plan something for all to
enjoy. This should happen soon - date not firm yet, but prior to the summer state
meeting which will be held in June in Prescott.
Make plans now to attend the AzFRW Summer Meeting in Prescott, AZ. Dates are June
17 and 18. Gov. Ducey will be the featured speaker at the Friday night dinner with an
afternoon tea on Thursday, June 16 with Mrs. Ducey. Space is limited for both events
so watch for the forms and hotel information and send your registration as soon as
possible.
If you have questions about the June State meeting please feel free to contact me.
