OMS has long-established field proven products for conductor and surface casing, the JV family of connections have been designed based on field experience, voice of client, product knowledge, product development, analysis and testing.
All JV-DD family connections have been evaluated and tested by an independent engineering consultant in Singapore and Houston, utilizing finite element analysis, elastic-plastic analysis and global analysis for analyzing works before physical testing is conducted in accordance to ISO13679:2002 CAL-1, with recommended practices in API 5C5 (2017). OMS is also ISO 9001:2015 and API Q1 Certified.
JV-DD connections are manufactured at our precision machine shop facilities in Singapore, Indonesia and Saudi Arabia. These facilities are well equipped with modern infrastructure and professional staff to provide integrated manufacturing, machining and welding services.

A connector product drawing and data sheet can be provided for every connection model, size and configuration. The JVDD Family of connections dimensionally follow API 5L plain end pipe charts, however connectors can be designed and manufactured to meet specific requirements of the client, where there may be dimensional tolerance restrictions. Connections can be manufactured as standard external upset, internal upset, semi-flush or fully flush. Our fully equipped Engineering & Technology Department can provide these designs and product data based on client supplied requirements.

for driving. It can withstand the repeated use of the heaviest driving apparatus. Effective pressure sealing Resilient O-ring seal is situated close to the shoulder of the pin connector and is protected by
the primary shoulder. The internal seal surface of the box is protected from handling damage. Reusable All models JVDD and JVDD2 connectors are reusable. Compound radius at landing shoulder Enhanced compound radius at JVDD and JVDD2 box landing shoulder reduces stress levels.
Lower overall stresses Dual shoulder configuration allows the loads flanks to share the overall load evenly, reducing stress hot spots.
Self locking thread The rugged 2 Thread Per Inch thread form on 3/4 Taper Per Foot makes it a self locking connection.

make-up. No cross threading Presence of dual stab guides eliminates the possibilities of crossed threads and reduces the
field running time. Thread form The thread form is of a hook-type thread with load flank at reverse angle to allow for self-
locking. Dual Shoulders & Driveable The double drive shoulders permit higher make up torque and increased compression loading
