Product Description
When deploying a repeater and/or booster fleet it is essential to have full control over the status of the individual network
elements. Comba Operation and Maintenance Center (OMC) is a software platform that allows configuration, operation
and maintenance all functions, parameters and resources for all Comba network elements.
Extensive and automatic alarm functionality ensures a continuous awareness of the status of the repeater and booster
fleet allowing the operator to take immediate and appropriate actions when needed.
The communication between the network elements and the OMC can be achieved via either one or more wireless (GSM)
modems or via one or more fixed line (PSTN) modems, optionally via WAN or GPRS network. In addition to Datalink modeof GSM Modems, OMC features SMS functionality which minimizes the required number of server modems to only one.
Standard Microsoft SQL Server application is used for storage of network element parameters and resources.
The OMC supports a single computer or in a server-client environment. Several remote clients can easily be operated from
different locations sharing one single database over LAN.
