Residential Live-on Requirement
Students are required to live on campus in the residential communities and participate in a meal plan during their educational tenure at Cal Maritime.

• Dedicated free laundry rooms, and a 24 hour gym

common, gender-specific hall bathroom
• Multiple study lounges, a game room & TV lounge,
dedicated laundry facilities, and the barber shop

Housing Application ProcessComplete Part 1 by May 1st, 2020.
Room Selection Process• Complete Part 1 by May 1st, 2020
• Once a student has filled out their StarRez Housing Application and divisions are assigned, students will receive notification of re-entering StarRez to select their room and roommate based on their divisions and division placement
Room Assignment Info• Your room assignment and move-in day information will
be sent to your CSUM email account mid-July
Move-in Day is Saturday, August 15th!
Timeline • Complete StarRez Housing Application by May 1st
• Receive notification for roommate selection late May• Log back into StarRez Housing Application to select
roommate late May-early June• Receive official room assignment letter and details for
move-in in July• Move into your residence hall on Saturday, August 15th
• Orientation Begins!
Off-Campus?• Off-Campus Petition Process
– For incoming students, the deadline is May 1st at 11:59pm via StarRez
• Allowances:– Age (26 by August 1st of the academic year),
married, parental custody, military veteran, maritime license, medical accommodation, and financial hardship
***Students must reapply every year- if you are granted off-campus housing for one year, it is not guaranteed for the next
***Do not seek a lease agreement without official approval!

For this 19-20 Year (per semester) :– $3,019 room rate
– $3,452 10 meals + $480 flex – $3,225 15 meals – $3,424 15 meals + $199 flex– $3,395 19 meals
