About the Speaker:
Doug Lynn has served as Quality Manager for several aerospace manufacturers and process houses. He has served as FAA / EASA Accountable Manager for Part 145 repair stations. He served as prime voting member of NADCAP task groups for NDT and Chemical Processing. He has experience in Castings, forgings, composites, NDT, wet chemical processing, plating, coatings, painting, machining, heat treating and semi-conductor inspection. He also has experience managing up to 100 personnel in multiple locations and multiple projects.

How to interpret Radiographic Casting Plates, and other Defect Identification.
Overview:
How to properly identify defects, verify them against the radiographic reference plates, and may include weld defect types as well.

September 2015 Meeting Recap: There was a great turn out of aprox 20 people at this event including both new faces and some of our regulars. The topic was well received on th outragous personalites of materials under test. It gave some great new ways of thinking about materials and identifying the best test method for each. Thanks again to Randy Jones for presenting. We’ve even got a great group photo which will continue as our new format for meeting recaps to hopefuly apear in ASNT ‘s publications.
Job Oppertunities: TEST NDT has an immediate vacancy for a senior instructor at their office in Brea, Southern California. Pre-requisites are ASNT level 3 certification in at least UT, MT and PT, other methods and a working knowledge of Phased array would be a bonus, but, not essential. Training will be provided in additional methods if needed. Duties will include, but not be limited to teaching classes at our facility and customers facilities, writing NDT procedures, qualification examination administration and preparation duties, customer liaison, maintaining NDT training equipment and training samples. Must be prepared to travel and have a current driving licence. Must successfully complete TEST NDT certification examinations (I.a.w. NAS 410) prior to commencing employment. Competitive salary and benefits for right person.
