The Christmas Choir
The local church is planning a special Christmas choir for their Christmas Eve service this year. This is a new program for the
church and they have high hopes for its success. The conductor has designed a creative program using traditional Christmas carols
and the singers have practiced for weeks. Four of the singers have solo parts in four different songs. Determine the full name of
each soloist, which part of the choir each is in and the name of the Christmas carol in which each is singing solo. Hint: only
women can be soprano and alto, and only men can be tenor and bass.
Sherry Sanford didn’t sing the solo part in “Silent Night.” Bruce didn’t sing the solo part in “ O Holy Night.”
The soprano wasn’t Ms. Sawyer.
“Joy to the World” as no the solo part that Mr. Smith sang in.
The tenor sang solo during “The First Noel.” Betty was part of alto section.
Mr. Short wasn’t a tenor. The bass singer, who wasn’t Tom, didn’t perform a solo part in “Silent Night.”
Bruce’s solo part was during “Joy to the World.”
The answer will be in the next edition of Library Lovers News.
