The Emergency Assistance in Retrospect
Thanks to the generous support, JPF have been able to involve
in the support of Tohoku area immediately following the struck
of the earthquake, responding to the daily changes of needs. In
addition to the emergency aid mounting up to 6.5 billion, 130
companies and groups have offered us basic goods and

About Co-existence fundIn order to support the people affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami with a view to enhancing their “self-
reliance”, “harmonious coexistence” and “spirit”, JPF started a “co-existence” fund to resource aid activities implemented by
nonprofit organizations with JPF grant funding http://www.japanplatform.org/area_works/tohoku/ngo.html. The first to fifth rounds
of applications have been accepted. JPF will be accepting the sixth round applications from 14th to 20th October.
