55 & Rising - January 13 The program for 55 & Rising on Jan 13, 2020 will be
Monika Miller, as a certified KonMari Consultant, she will
share her insider knowledge, pro-organizing tips and
experiences of guiding clients through this uplifting
process. She trained with Marie Kondo and her team is
trained to help people transform their homes and lives by
choosing what 'sparks joy and letting go of the rest'.
55 & Rising SNOW policy!!! If Sevier County Schools
are cancelled, 55 & Rising is also cancelled. If school
starts 1-2 hours late, 55 & Rising will still meet at the
regular time on the second Monday at noon.

The Twelve Days of Christmas A Partridge in a Pear Tree-Jesus and His crucifixion.
The partridge because it's a bird that will sacrifice its life to
save its children.
The two turtle doves were the Old and New Testaments.
The three French hens stood for faith, hope, and love.
The four calling birds were the four gospels of Matthew,
Mark, Luke, and John.
The five golden rings r epresented the fir st five books of
the Old Testament, which describe man's fall into sin and the
great love of God in sending a Savior.
The six geese a-laying stood for the six days of creation.
Seven swans a-swimming r epresented the sevenfold gifts
of the Holy Spirit-----Prophesy, Serving, Teaching,
Exhortation, Contribution, Leadership, and Mercy.
The eight maids a-milking were the eight beatitudes.
Nine ladies dancing were the nine fruits of the Holy Spir it
-----Charity, Joy, Peace, Patience [Forbearance], Gentleness,
Goodness, Faithfulness, Meekness and Self-control.
The ten lords a-leaping were the Ten Commandments.
The eleven pipers piping stood for the eleven faithful
Apostles.
The twelve drummers drumming symbolized the twelve
points of belief in The Apostles' Creed.
The 12 days of Christmas is the period that in Christian
theology marks the span between the birth of Christ and
the coming of the Magi, the three wise men. It begins on
December 25 (Christmas) and runs through January 6
(the Epiphany, sometimes also called Three Kings' Day).
The four weeks preceding Christmas are collectively
known as Advent, which begins four Sundays before
Christmas and ends on December 24.
