GOES ProcessingThe Global Online Enrollment System (GOES) is used to complete and submit NEXUS, SENTRI, Global Entry, and US-Mexico FAST applications online as well as to submit fee payment and schedule an Enrollment Center appointment.

• Type https://goes-app.cbp.dhs.gov in the address bar of your internet browser or select the Global Online Enrollment System Application link on the bottom right of the www.cbp.gov Webpage. The GOES Welcome screen displays.
• Click the <appropriate hyperlink> to register in English or French as a new GOES user. The GOES Warning screen displays.

If you are applying for NEXUS and have indicated that you are not a citizen of the U.S. or Canada, this screen displays. In this case, you must be a permanent resident of either Canada or the United States to be eligible for the NEXUS program.
– Select the <appropriate button> to indicate whether you are a permanent resident of the United States or Canada.
– Click Next. The GOES Permanent Resident Status: Permanent Resident Card screen displays.

GOES Interview MaintenanceLog in to GOES to check the status of you application(s) or appointment(s) on the GOES Account Summary screen.
Guidelines for Cancelling or Rescheduling Appointments:– Only appointments greater than 24 hours in advance may be rescheduled or cancelled through
GOES.– If USCBP blocks your appointment, the enrollment center personnel will contact you to
reschedule. This will be done in a timely manner within 90 days to prevent denial of your application. If your application is denied, USCBP will take the appropriate measures to correct the denial and re-schedule your interview appointment.
– When you cancel or reschedule your appointment, you must provide a reason for the cancellation or rescheduling.
– If you have cancelled or rescheduled too many times, your application may be denied.
To reschedule/cancel your appointment:
– Select the NEXUS Program hyperlink on the GOES Account Summary screen. – The GOES Interview Scheduled screen displays giving you the option to reschedule or cancel.
(NOTE: If CBP has blocked your interview, the GOES Interview Blocked screen displays giving you the option to reschedule only.)
– If you choose to reschedule the GOES Select Enrollment Center screen displays allowing you to choose your desired Enrollment Center and then your time slot (on the GOES Schedule Appointment screen).
– The GOES Rescheduling Confirmation screen displays once a time slot has been selected. – If you choose to cancel your appointment the GOES Cancellation Confirmation screen displays.

GOES Interview Blocked screen
If USCBP blocks your appointment, the enrollment center personnel will contact you to reschedule. This will be done in a timely manner within 90 days to prevent denial of your application. If your application is denied, USCBP will take the appropriate measures to correct the denial and re-schedule your interview appointment. You will be able to see that USCBP blocked your interview on the GOES Account Summary screen. The Application Status will be Interview Time Blocked. (NOTE: Click the Print hyperlink at the bottom of the page to print the screen.)If this happens:
– Select the NEXUS program hyperlink. The GOES Interview Blocked screen displays. – Click Reschedule Appointment. the GOES Select Enrollment Center screen displays
allowing you to choose your desired Enrollment Center and then your time slot (on the GOES Schedule Appointment screen). The GOES Rescheduling Confirmation screen displays once a time slot has been selected.

• To cancel your appointment select the NEXUS program hyperlink on the GOES Account Summary screen. The GOES Interview Scheduled screen displays giving you the option to cancel. Click Cancel Appointment. (NOTE: If USCBP has blocked your interview and you wish to cancel, there is no need for any action on your part.) The GOES Cancellation Confirmation screen displays.
• You must type a <valid reason for cancellation> in the text box and click Confirm. The GOES Interview Cancelled screen displays with your updated interview information.

Once your interview is cancelled, you may reschedule any time within 90 days of your conditional approval.
– You can access the GOES Interview Cancelled screen by selecting the NEXUS program hyperlink from the GOES Account Summary screen.
– Click Schedule Again to begin the rescheduling process. If 90 days from your conditional approval status passes without any action, your application will be denied.
