Information on a change related to EASA Export Certificate of Airwothiness process Example of new Export CofA
Dear colleagues from importing authority,
Please be informed in advance that EASA will slightly change the Export Certificate of Airworthiness (ECofA) process for the new aircraft released by EASA issued Production Organisation Approval Holders. The starting date is 16 December 2018 for Airbus Helicopters (EASA.21G.0070) and 1 January 2019 for Airbus (EASA.21G.0001).
The change will affect the way of date completion on ECofA: the Date of issue on EASA Form 27 will refer to the date on EASA Form 52 (Aircraft Statement of Conformity) which will be issued by the POA holder and will be attached to the ECofA (see attached example of EASA Form 27).
This change has been discussed with Production Organisation Approval Holders and their customers. Please distribute this information within your authority as appropriate.
Do not hesitate to contact me should you have any questions or clarifications needed.
With my best regards,
Jiti Novy
