SYNOPSIS - FULL (142 words) Back in New York after a stint in Los Angeles, Norman Kaminsky and his girlfriend, Claire, find themselves in the middle of an intense argument while walking through Central Park. Upset with Norman, Claire storms off moments before Norman is confronted by multiple psychiatrists from his past with whom he has unfinished business. As Norman tries to evade them and reconnect with Claire, the therapists can't help but analyze Norman as they follow him through Central Park. Characters from Norman's life continue to appear, an old college professor, an old parking lot attendant, each of them drudging up another loose end that Norman has been running from. When Norman's ex-girlfriend Genevieve emerges and joins the group, the impromptu outdoor therapy session reaches its peak and Norman has no choice but to confront the issues he has for so long tried to ignore.

DIRECTOR’S BIO Noah Pritzker is a filmmaker living in New York City. His debut feature, QUITTERS, premiered in competition at SXSW in 2015 and was released theatrically in July, 2016. His short films have played at festivals around the world.
DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT Norman Kaminsky, the protagonist of this short, is pulled from a longer script I had been writing for Kieran. Eager to explore the character with Kieran, we decided to pull together a small ensemble and bring Norman to life in a short film. The initial idea for the short was to remake the subway chase scene in The French Connection, only instead of a detective and a criminal, it would be a psychiatrist (or two, and then some others) trying to corner and analyze Norman.
