Psychologist Howard Gardner, professor of education at Harvard University, developed Multiple Intelligences Theory ("MI Theory") in 1983 in the book "Frames of Mind."


It suggests that traditional ways of testing for intelligence may be biased to certain types of individuals.


Everybody has a different mind, and no two profiles of intelligence are the same.


Gardner has articulated

eight basic types of intelligence
