GL / DNV / LR / BV … approval

• GL / DNV / LR / BV ,… have to evaluate the impacts

of MOTS regarding the stability of every vessel.

• MOTS is not a integral component of a vessel.

Therefore is no obligation of a GL / DNV / LR

certification of MOTS as a system.

Professional association approval

• MOTS is in the approval process by the German

professional association (old “SeeBG”). Approval of

the safety concept and features is pending.

• UK MCA will be contacted next to clarify the needs of

the UK market. Who is the authority in UK?
