Hello Monroe Families: Monroe students will present an all-school Winter concert on Wednes-
day, December 4th, 2019 at Thompson Valley High School! The students voted on a theme and
they chose "Holiday Favorites". The concert is a wonderful chance for our kids to share what
they’ve learned and let their talents shine. It is an experience that they will always remember
and the entire Monroe staff will be coming together to make it a very special night. I have out-
lined the details below, but if you have any questions or concerns at all, please don’t hesitate
to contact me by phone or email at 970-613-6541 [email protected] (Keep in
mind that I’m only in the building on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.)
What: Monroe Elementary All School Holiday Concert When: Wednesday, December 4, 2019
Kindergarten/First Grade 6:00-6:30 p.m. 2nd/3rd/4th/5th Grades 6:30-8:00 p.m. Where:
Thompson Valley High School Auditorium Dress: Your Best! It’s a special occasion. Attend-
ance: Sharing our music with an audience is one of the most important things that students
learn in music class and cannot be duplicated in any other setting. Therefore, all students are
expected to be in attendance at the concert. If transportation is an issue, Mrs. Sather is avail-
able to assist your student. Just let me know and I will coordinate transportation with her.
Parents of any student who cannot attend should contact me as soon as they know of an ill-
ness or conflict. Students who have an unexcused absence from the concert will receive one
lower grade on their report card for that quarter. I will be sending out reminders as the per-
formance date draws near but mark your calendars now. You won’t want to miss this special
event! Sincerely, Kyndra Soto Music Specialist Monroe Elementary School
