CNMS BodyAttack Workout
Castle North Middle School’s PE classes welcomed Jennifer Boester, a Body Attack fitness coach and a mom to Ken-
nedy Boester, a CNMS 6th-grader, on Tuesday, October 29th. Just in time to burn off some of those Halloween good-
ies! BodyAttack is a group fitness cardio-based workout. When participating in a BodyAttack workout, students learn to
warm-up, condition both upper and lower parts of the body, and then cool-down. The moves in a BodyAttack workout
are inspired by sporting activities. There’s lots of running and jumping. A BodyAttack workout is good for coordination,
heart health, lung capacity, agility, and burning calories. To learn more about BodyAttack, go to: www.lesmills.com/us/

Castle North Middle School Math Academy will begin on
Tuesday, November 5, 2019. The academy’s purpose is to
train students for mathematics competitions and to build a
community of students who love to consider challenging
math. The main competition is the national MATHCOUNTS
competition.
The format of the evening contains a math lesson,
independent and group problem solving, and quick contests.
Students can expect assignments that are above and
beyond current classroom work. You don’t have to know it all
because we will teach you. If you like challenging problems
and math, no matter your skill level, you might find it fun.
These meetings are not for homework help!
Parents are encouraged to accompany their child to brush
up on math skills and bring insight to our activities.

During the week of November 18th, the Student Council
is planning to sell feathers for $1.00 during lunch
periods. When you buy a feather, you get to put it on
the teacher’s turkey that you would most like to see
wearing a turkey costume the day before Thanksgiving
Break. All proceeds will go to help families in need this
holiday season.
More details on this activity will be coming your
