Math Week! March 9-March 12
Members of the St. Cecilia School Student Council visited Little Sisters of the Poor
Jeanne Jugan Residence on Monday, February 10th. Students were greeted by
Sister Angela who shared a brief history of Saint Jeanne Jugan and the Little
Sisters’ mission. The students attended Mass, toured the Home, and enjoyed
lunch with the Residents. Then, the Student Council, made up of 5th through
8th graders, presented more than 100 Valentine cards to Residents, all
hand-made by the student body at St. Cecilia School.
St. Cecilia School provides a Catholic education that fosters intellectual, moral, and
spiritual growth. Together we strive daily to give witness to the love of God and bring the
presence of Christ to all people through loving service.

A New Smartboard!
Mrs. Canton is thrilled to be the recipient of a new state-of –the-art Smart-
board. This new Smartboard is interactive and allows for students to work on
their Chromebooks while
engaging in lessons being
taught via the Smartboard.
This new technology was
made possible by the
generosity of parents who
raised money at the Comedy
Night, The Feinstein
Foundation, and the Bristol
County Charitable
Foundation.
Jamie Doyle demonstrates one of the many
features of the new Smartboard in math class.
The Saint Cecilia School Drama Club will be preforming Alice in Wonderland, Jr. March 20 and 21 at 7pm in
the church hall. Drama club members have been busy rehearsing. They also designed and have displayed
posters to entice the school community to attend the play.
