The Modular Scaffolding MEKA 48 is designed to adapt to the most complex scaffold structures. Its versatility offers a wide range of uses, a significant load-bearing capacity and unparalleled quick assembly of all its components. Incorporates a safety rail.
The Modular Scaffolding MEKA 48 is based on a system of vertical standards with rosettes allowing up to 8 connections where the ledgers and diagonal braces connect, and enable different angles to be made every 50 cm.

Technical specifications: Steel tube Ø 48.3 mm. Grade St-44. All components are galvanised and have a minimum thickness of 75 microns, according to the European Standard EN 1461.

Made of zinc plated steel. They bear the load of the vertical standards. The reinforced base plate has a thickness of 5 mm and a surface area of 120 X 120 mm. Ø 36 mm threaded rod available in different lengths.With overlapping space to comply with the relevant regulation.
The screw jack base 1.0 m · 2 levers is pre-eminently used to stabilise the structure.
Accommodates the scaffold on inclined surfaces.
The reinforced side bracket is man-ufactured with hot galvanised steel. Allows for the scaffold to be erected to a wall or a façade, using either chemical or mechanical anchoring methods. It has a reinforced base plate with 6 Ø 20 mm connection holes for assembly purposes.Length of console: 1.3 m.The screw jack 0.6 m with coupler Ø 48 allows the selected scaffold-ing system to be erected on the wall brace.
Manufactured with hot galvanised steel. Always attached to the screw jacks. The rosette allows the scaffolding to be erected.

Manufactured with tubes of Ø 48.3 x 3.2 mm thickness and rosettes at intervals of 50 cm. Each rosette has 4 small openings for connecting ledgers and 4 big openings for connecting diagonal braces. They bear the load of the scaffolding. Galvanised and with a minimum thickness of 75 microns. The upper end has a spigot for attaching Ø 40 mm pipes. Every standard has connection holes at its lower end and in the spigot, and therefore both components can be joined together with a snap pin.

Manufactured with Ø 35 mm pipe, it is designed for assembly on the lower level of the scaffolding, providing the fitter with security during the assembly process through its fixed guardrail. hot galvanised and with a minimum thickness of 75 microns. Avoids the use of diagonal braces for lower-standing operations by securing the structure through 4 points (2 locks and 2 hooks).
Manufactured with Ø 48.3 mm pipes, they allow fast and light assemblies. hot galvanised and with a minimum thickness of 75 microns. protective bar consisting of Ø 25 mm pipe standing at 0.5 m.
Manufactured with Ø 32 mm pipe, they have a wedge on one end and a hook on the other to allow quick assemblies.

TRUSS LEDGERS
Much like the ledger, the truss ledger channels the standards load towards the rosettes. The main difference lies in its loading capacity, increased thanks to the gussets and the lower ledger, making it more resistant to bend.

Example of a provisional guardrail in use. In step 1 the fitter secures the perime-ter of the plank level with the provisional assembly rail. In step 2 the horizontal braces are in-stalled and the provisional guardrails are taken down.

Used for scaffolds where tying the structure to a wall is not an option as well as for mobile towers. An articulated base plate allows it to adapt well to the surface. The adjustable telescopic arm can be operated with a snap pin. 2 clamps secure it to the standards.
An indispensable component for securing the scaffold to the structure's facade. It should be used with an EN 74 Ø 48 mm pipe-clamp.hook diameter: 18 mm.

Ideal for creating access points in the scaffold structure. Anti-slip steps and landings. Width of steps 60 cm. The models manufactured with 6061 aluminium are very lightweight, making assembly easier, while the hot galvanised steel model is ideal for access points that need a greater loading capacity.
Manufactured with 40 mm pipe, it is assembled into the standards rosettes with locks similar to those found on the ledgers.
Manufactured with Ø 32 mm pipe, it is assembled into the access lad-der struts using the two inverted U-shaped sheets on both ends of the main pipe. For fastening the guardrail securely, the sheets have connection holes. It opens up the step’s landing as a passageway.

Starting from the highest point, place the screw jack bases on the ground. It is recommended the ground to be compacted with sole boards in order to distribute the weight of the load. Insert a base collar into each of the screw jack bases.
Using the holes of the rosettes, connect the base collar to the ledgers. Level the screw jack bases beginning at the highest point.
Erect the following levels with standards 2 m and join them with ledgers, as shown in step 3.
place the planks on the next level and continue to rein-force the scaffold diagonally.Stiffen the scaffolding to the façade using tie bars, fixed clamps, tie supports and plugs as required in each scenario. place the provisional guard-rail to the next level in order to be able to access it safely.
Complete the side protection assembling the ledgers and the planks. Repeat steps 6, 7 and 8 for more levels.
Insert the standards into the base collars in order to erect the first level:• Standards 3.0 m where guardrails are used.• Standards 2.0 m everywhere else.
Join the standards with the ledgers.
Assembly the fixed and access planks using the access ladder support fitted to the ledger to hold up the access ladder. Reinforce the scaffold assembling the diagonal brace.
place the provisional guardrail to reach to the first level. Then assembly the ledgers and the toeboards.
