CourseDescriptionThiscoursewillfocusontheprimaryelementsandcomponentsofadvancingconductingskillsfordirectorsofchoral

ensemblesatalllevels.Studentswillbeimmersedinconductingtechniquesandpersonalgestures,scorestudyasitconcernstherelationshipoftexttomusic,analysis,andmeaninginmusic.Studentswillbeexpectedtoapplyunderstandingstorealtimeensembleconductingandcoachingexperiences,observation,reflectionandcritiquethroughoutthecourse.Thecourseisrepertoire-basedandstudentswillcoveranumberofworksfromavarietyofhistoricaleras;thereisanemphasisonpodiumtime.StudentLearningOutcomesAttheconclusionofthisgraduatemusiceducationcourse,studentswill:
