First phase website delivery engineer-volunteer webinars, resources, and training kit. Resources for educators, parents and students
Second phase Connecting Forum for educators and engineers to discuss and share ideas. Promoted through Scholastic, NSTA, ITEA & NACAC. Distribution of new materials.
Third phase is driven by the volunteers. – Carry the positive message to educators – Educators enrich the learning experience of children
and renew interest in engineering and technology.

Connecting Educators Grant Program$250,000
A special program of The Northrop Grumman Foundation,
• Grants of $250 each will be awarded to full-time classroom teachers grades 5-8.
• Projects must be math, science and engineering technology related and focused on enhancing current curriculum.
• 1,000 grants will be provided and only one project per teacher may be submitted.
• Proposal timeline: February 1 through March 31, 2006.
