Attendance• If your child is absent please send a
note stating the reason.• Cobb County Attendance Policy• 5 Absences/Tardies – A note will be
sent home from the teacher.• 10 Absences/Tardies – A letter will be
sent home from the principal.• 12 Absences/Tardies – A Social Worker
will contact the parents.
Behavior Management• Monthly chart sent home daily• Child will color the date the color
of the clip that they ended up on today
• Color explanations are found on the monthly chart
Birthdays• Parents may send in a special snack
(cupcakes, cookies, donuts, etc.) to be eaten at lunch.
• Party Invitations - To avoid hurt feelings, please do not send party invitations to school with your child unless you are inviting the whole class, or either all of the girls or all of the boys.

Important Information• Conference Week – October 24-
28• Early release during conference
week• Dismissal- Please send a written
note for any transportation change and place in your child’s daily folder.
• Envelopes- Please send all money in a labeled envelope.
Homework• Homework Notebook-A monthly
calendar will be kept in your child’s take home folder. There is a short activity to complete each night. The notebook will be returned at the end of the month.
• Reading-Please read with your child for at least 20 minutes each night and initial on the homework calendar.
