The winner of each pool will advance and 3 wild card teams will advance. The three wild card teams will advance based on the scoring
method described below. Top three point getters and ties will be broken by the procedures listed. (Maximum of two teams from any one
pool team bracket will be numbered from top to bottom 1 – 8. Wild card teams will be placed in positions 2, 6 and 7 based on procedures
below. This will be done starting at the top of the bracket. Once this is completed, the pool winners from the same pools as wild card
teams in position 6 and 7, will be placed in position 3 and 4. The pool winner from the same pool as the wild card team in position 2 will
be placed in position 5. Position 1 and 8 will be filled by the pool winners that did not have a wild card team advance. This will be done
using the procedures spelled out below. The winner even if point totals indicate otherwise. Position in the bracket will not be determined
until the completion of play and wild card teams are identified.) The eight of this procedure will be placed in position 1 and the other team
will get position 8. This procedure will ensure that a pool winner and their wild card team wouldn’t meet again until the finals. Also, it
allows random and fair placement once play is completed. A representative of teams from the open divisions should remain at the results
area until the bracket has been filled.
Tie Breaking Procedures: 1) The winner in head to head competition.
2) High point differential (goals scored minus goals allowed)
Maximum of 5 points from any one match.
3) Most goals for.
4) Fewest goals against.
5) Most total wins.
6) Most shut outs.
Scoring Method: Pool Play - Per Game a. Win = 3 points
b. Tie = 1 points
c. Loss = 0 points
7) If a tie still exists after steps 1 through 5, NCAA
Penalty Kick procedures will be taken fifteen (15)
minutes prior to the scheduled start of the appropriate
Quarterfinal or Semifinal game.
8) If a three-way tie exists within a bracket after steps 1
through 5, a three-way coin flip will be conducted. The
teams that tie in the coin flip will compete in NCAA
Penalty Kicks to eliminate one team prior to proceed-
ing to NCAA Penalty Kicks with the third team. The
coin flip and time of the NCAA Penalty Kicks will be
determined at the fields.

The winner of each pool will advance and 3 wild card teams will advance. The three wild card teams will advance based on the scoring
method described below. Top three point getters and ties will be broken by the procedures listed. (Maximum of two teams from any one pool
even if point totals indicate otherwise. Position in the bracket will not be determined until the completion of play and wild card teams are
identified.) The eight team bracket will be numbered from top to bottom 1 – 8. Wild card teams will be placed in positions 2, 6 and 7 based
on procedures below. This will be done starting at the top of the bracket. Once this is completed, the pool winners from the same pools as
wild card teams in position 6 and 7, will be placed in position 3 and 4. The pool winner from the same pool as the wild card team in position
2 will be placed in position 5. Position 1 and 8 will be filled by the pool winners that did not have a wild card team advance. This will be
done using the procedures spelled out below. The winner of this procedure will be placed in position 1 and the other team will get position 8.
This procedure will ensure that a pool winner and their wild card team wouldn’t meet again until the finals. Also, it allows random and fair
placement once play is completed. A representative of teams from the open divisions should remain at the results area until the bracket has
been filled.

8) If a three-way tie exists within a bracket after steps
1 through 5, a three-way coin flip will be conducted.
The teams that tie in the coin flip will compete in
NCAA Penalty Kicks to eliminate one team prior to
proceeding to NCAA Penalty Kicks with the third
team. The coin flip and time of the NCAA Penalty
Kicks will be determined at the fields.
