Collaborative e-Portfolios
What is a Student e-Portfolio?
A collection of student work over a period of time E-Portfolios are digitalized collections of artifacts,
e.g. personal profiles, records, publications, ideas, reflections, accomplishments, etc. about a student.
An ePortfolio can be an authentic performance based assessment tool. It can be used for evaluation by demonstrating how and what the student is learning.
ePortfolio Educational Benefits?
e-Portfolio Effective Pedagogy
"Integrate portfolios into pedagogy. ePortfolios should be tightly integrated into courses and programs, rather than tacked on to the end. ePortfolio workshops early in a course can encourage students to see portfolios as a central part of the learning experience.
Time spent on developing portfolios is generally well worth it because it helps students build a fuller understanding of what they have learned" (xxiii). These principles are absolutely crucial to effective ePortfolio pedagogy.

The EdCube Benefits The EdCube is the easiest way for schools to
create dynamic student e-portfolios. Students access folios from class lists and upload
their work (documents, files) into the EdCube. Students share and update folios Student publishes the folio as a website or CD
