BI User Definitions

Enterprise User: Accesses small number of Maximo applications, and very limited number of reports. Very reliant on a guided user experience, including simple, quick access features like Direct Print/Direct Print with Attachments.

Casual user: Accesses greater number of applications, and features like List Tab export to Microsoft Excel. Very reliant on a variety of reports for daily business tasks, and utilizes scheduling/emailing for recurring report execution.

Power user: Wants Everything. Access to all Maximo applications, reports and backend database access. Has the ability to visualize data output in a variety of ways and often

tasked by Management to investigate issues or project scenarios. Developer: Very high technical skills. Not a Maximo user himself - he produces output for

Maximo users. Very deep knowledge of databases, sql, java along with ability to debug and optimize report performance.

Administrator: Very strong technical skills also. Focuses on database management, installs, server and file maintenance, networking and security of the Maximo applications.
