Association donates to food drive
The Vinings Business Association is donating $500 to the annual Thanks
for Giving food drive administered by the Center for Family Resourc-es in Marietta, in recognition and support of their community event of collecting and dis-
tributing boxes of food to Cobb fami-lies during the Thanksgiving season.
“We believe in collecting and pro-viding all the ingredients necessary for a family to make their own Thanksgiv-ing meal at home, in a way that sup-ports and honors their own family tra-ditions,” said Alicia Ferguson, volun-teer coordinator at the CFR. “Thanks for Giving does so much more than provide a meal. It provides a continua-tion of a family’s holiday expectations and way of life.”
“We realize that Thanksgiving week can be even more financially stressful when students are home from school for more than just the holiday meal,” said Charles Rea, 2016 president of the VBA. “Through participation in the annual Thanks for Giving food drive, our generous community cap-tures the true spirit of Thanksgiving.”

Moore Ingram Johnson & Steele, located in the Emerson Overlook at 326 Roswell St., Suite 100 in Marietta, has received a ranking in the 2017 edition of U.S. News — Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms.”
Awards are determined based on multiple factors, including lawyer ballot feedback, the number of lawyers included in Best Lawyers for that firm and practice area, the number of office locations a firm has, historical analysis of
the firm’s “Lawyer of the Year” awards and the firm’s overall scope and areas of expertise.
“We are dedicated to providing the best quality legal services and personalized attention to each and every one of our clients,” said John H. Moore, founding partner. “We believe that our clients deserve no less.”
