Open March thru November, daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
FIRST AID/SPECIAL NEEDS
First aid supplies are located at the gift shop, AdventureCenter, Main Zoo building and concession stands.
For those with special needs, wheelchairs are locatedin the gift shop. The Erie Zoo, including the Safariland
Train, is wheelchair accessible. Wheelchair rental requiresphoto ID.
Lost & Found items should be returned to the gift shop.
VISITOR GUIDELINES• Animals are on special diets to ensure their health.
Please do not feed them any outside food.
• Please do not throw objects into exhibits or tap onexhibit glass. This behavior may harm or scarethe animals.
• The Erie Zoo is smoke free.
• Always stay behind the guardrails and do not reachover the railings. They are for your protection.
• Never reach into an animal’s home.Animals have teeth or beaks and can bite.
• For your safety, biking, skating and roller bladingare not permitted on Zoo grounds.
• Visitors may not bring pets onto Zoo grounds.(Guide dogs are permitted.)
• In case of an emergency or if someone is lost, go tothe Zoo gift shop at the main gate or find the closestZoo employee for assistance.
• Please exercise caution and do not climb on anyexhibit rockwork or railings.
• All visitors must wear a shirt and shoes while onZoo grounds.
• The Erie Zoo is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
