Polyester Fabric Liner Preparation
A felt liner is fabricated of polyester needled, woven or knitfabric and coated with an impervious film such as polyethylene, polyurethane or PVC. Just prior to installation, the fabric liner issaturated with a heat activated resin using a vacuum impregnationprocess. All excess resin is removed by pulling the liner through aspecially designed set of rollers. The saturated liner can be storedin a refrigerated truck for several days until installation into the
host pipe.

Polyester Fabric Resin Impregnation
A Vacuum is created onthe custom manufacturedliner to remove air and toensure thorough resindistribution
Resin, with dye, ispumped into the liner anddisplaces the evacuated airsaturating the inside of theliner

Fiberglass Liner PreparationFiberglass Liners are manufactured several ways:
1. A liner is fabricated of a specially designed fiberglassmaterial and encased in impervious film such aspolyethylene, polyurethane or PVC. The fiberglassliner is saturated with either a heat activated or UVLight activated resin. All excess resin is removed bypulling the liner through a specially designed set ofrollers
2. UV Light activated resin is saturated into the rawfiberglass material then spirally wound into a roundtube. No vacuumimpregnation is required
3. UV Light activated resinfiberglass liners typicallyhave an extended shelf lifeof up to six (6) monthswithout refrigeration

CIPP & Folded Pipe TechnologyRequirements
The liner materials must be designed
and selected for the specificapplication (sewer, water, industrial, etc)The installer must be experienced inthe technology (minimum number ofinstallations, years of experience, etc))Installation technique and equipmentspecific to the technology and curingtechnique applied (equipment should
be integral part of technology)The Installed product must be testedand certified to meet the specificationrequirements

Pre-Installation ConsiderationsEquipment staging area isrequired at or near accessmanholeThe existing pipe must be pre-televised and surveyed todetermine its condition
Some excavation may berequired for larger diameterliners or for point repairsAll existing flows in the pipe
must be plugged or by-passedThe existing pipe must becleaned to remove ALL debris, silt, roots, sand, etc
