How often we must bear the challenges of life;The endless roller coaster between happiness and sorrow;
The constant ups and downs of daily strife.And always the question remains .. why?
Lifeisnotaneasyroadformost;Ittwistsandturnswithmanyforksintheroad,
Although always, and inevitably, we are given a choice ...
Do we turn to the right ... or the left?Do we take the high road ... or the low road?
Do we take the easy path ... or the difficult one?
Decisions are not easy for those struggling for direction ...And sometimes the many choices and signs become overwhelming.
While standing at a crossroads in life,The urge is to take the most comfortable path;
The road with least resistance ...The shortest or most traveled route.
And yet, if we’ve been down that comfortable road before;Have gleaned its lessons in life, and learned from our experiences;
Do we yet again follow the known?Ordoesourdestinylieinanotherdirection?
The fear of the road less traveled is tangible and all too real;Itmanifestsitselfinmanyways,
And tends to cloud the issues that might otherwise be clear.
Itisinthesetimesofconfusion,That we must seek peace and solitude;
Time to contemplate on our life,Ourexperiencesandourchoicespast;
Time to look back, and reflect on what we have learnedWithout fear or confusion.

The experiences that brought us to the crossroads we now face.
We can always learn a small degree from others experiences,And yet ... no one person can walk in our shoes,
Othersknownot,thetrialsandtribulationsfacedinprivate...
For each is individual ... unique ... and personal.
And that is why ... while standing at a crossroads,Only“we”canformulatethedecisionforourselves;
The true direction that lies within;The choices we must deliberate on with clarity and wisdom.
For it is only through personal reflection,That we can now choose our destiny;

With Android and iPhone now combining for nearly 90 percent of the U.S. smartphone market, many app developers are concentrating their efforts on sersving the majority of smartphone users through these two platforms. But there is an inherent tension when resources are limited and developers must choose one over the other, or decide which platform to develop for first. As a result, every app developer should be armed with some basic facts around the differences between Android and iPhone users when making these decisions. AccordingtocomScoreMobiLensdatafromDecember2012,Androidcurrentlyownsthelarger market share at 53 percent, while iPhone holds a strong #2 position at 36 percent. However, market share alone is not sufficient for driving development decisions because iPhone users have different characteristics that often make them attractive from a development standpoint. Here are some key differences in user dynamics between Android and iPhone users that every developer should know.
iPhoneUsersareSlightlyYoungerandMoreAffluent iOSispopularamongaslightlyyoungerdemographicthanAndroidusers,with18-24yearolds representing 19 percent of all iPhone owners compared to 16 percent of Android owners. That said, Android users on the whole skew younger than the total U.S. mobile market, indicating that they still have a very attractive profile on this dimension. Another important demographic difference is average household income, with 41 percent of iPhone owners falling in the $100,000+ income segment vs. 24 percent of Android owners. With iPhones selling at a higher average price point than most Android phones, this difference should not be a complete surprise. Still, it may be an important differentiator for marketers.
AndroidUsersHaveBroaderContentCategoryReach,DespiteiOSUsers’HigherPropensity NotonlydoAndroidand iOSusers lookdifferent,but theyalsoengagedifferentlywithmobilecontent.iPhoneownersaresometimesdescribedas“powerusers”ontheirphonesandarerelatively more likely to engage in all major content categories than Android owners: 10 percent morelikelytousesocialmediaonadailybasis,7percentmorelikely to access news, and 15 percent more likely to visit online retail sites. While iPhone owners engage with more content on average, the Android platform has a greater number of media users in each category. This of course poses an interesting dilemma for developers who must consider whether audience size or engagement is the more important determinant of success for their apps. Do they need to have a higher number of users, or do they want the type of users who engage more frequently? A lot will depend on how they intend to monetize the apps.
ANDROIDvs.iOS
39iPhoneUsersMoreLikelytoEngageinM-Commerce Oneofthemoreimportantmobiletrendstodevelopoverthepastyearistheemergenceofm-commerce,wheresmartphoneownersactuallymakepurchaseson theirphones.Onceagain,iPhone users show a greater propensity to engage in this behavior with 23 percent having done so vs.17percentofAndroidowners.iPhoneownersarealsomorelikelytomakepurchasesontheirphones on a regular basis. These are important considerations for both retail app developers and those seeking to monetize via paid apps or in-app purchase.
iPhoneSatisfactionCorrespondswithHighDeviceLoyalty Device satisfaction and brand loyalty are differentiating factors that marketers, strategists, and developers also should consider since they, in part, determine long term market share. iPhone owners tend to think very highly of their devices, and as a result they are likely to remain iPhone users over time. Nearly two-thirds (62 percent) of iPhone owners are highly satisfied with their device, and more than 80 percent of them have previously owned an iPhone. Android owners maintain a fairly high percentage of highly satisfied users at 48 percent, but clearly not at the same level of Apple. Since the majority of Android phones’ hardware is not Google-branded, Apple’s tightly linked hardware and software may offer a certain branding advantage that engendershigherloyalty.Ofcourse,Applealsohasahistoryofexcellentmarketingcampaignsthathave cemented the brand’s iconic status.
DevelopersShouldThinkAboutWhat’sMost ImportantBeforeDevelopinganApp Android and iPhone offer the two leading platforms today, and each one possesses its own unique characteristics and advantages. Android’s lead in market share often means the potential for app developers to reach a larger audience, but iPhone makes up for this by boasting an attractive audience to marketers that tends to reflect more highly engaged mobile media users with higher income. Their strong platform loyalty also bodes well for their ability to retain and expand market share over the long term. Understanding and quantifying the differences between the users of each device can help developers make smarter decisions about which audiences and platforms to focus on in order to attract users, drive

As we are well aware, most mobile phones and smartphones at present still run the 3G network, both for voice and data access. 3G is also used by some of the biggest carriers and, inspite of the advent of 4G, still manages to retain its popularity.
4G, which has also become the standard for wireless communication, also has its share of loyal customers in some pockets of the world. While 3G itself is very fast, 4G is already said to be 3-4 times faster than it.

BITTORRENT is a system for efficient andscalable replication of large amounts of static data.
SCALABLE-the throughput increases withthe number of downloader’s.
EFFICIENT-itutilisesalargeamountofavailablenetwork bandwidth.
The file to be downloaded is split up in pieces and SHA-1 hash is calculated for each piece, a metadata file(.torrent) is distributed to all peers usually via http. It contains SHA-1hashes of all pieces ,a mapping of the pieces to files and a tracker reference.
A peer joins a swarm by asking the tracker for a peer list and connects to those peers. These aspects(ability to download from many peers) make bittorrents the fastest platform to download files. It also minimises pieceoverlap among peers to allow each peer to exchange pieces with as many other peers as possible .
The number of distributed copies is the number of copies of the rarest piece .To
BITTORENT-Gagana P
4thSem‘A”Section.
maximise the distributed copies ,maximise the availability of the rarest pieces and to increase the availability of a piece, download it.
The piece picking algorithm used in bittorrent is called RAREST FIRST. It picks a randompiece from the set of rarest pieces.
Common problems with trackers is that it has a single point of failure and bandwidth bottleneck for publishers.
These problems can be avoided by using multiple trackers, DHT trackers. DHT works as a hash table with sha-1 hashes as keys .The key is the info hash, the hash of the metadata. it uniquely identifies a torrent.
Each node is assigned with an id and bittorrent uses KADEMLIA(each node bootstraps bylooking for its own id) as DHT.
The biggest drawback of bittorrent is that the identity of the person who uploaded or downloaded a file is never known .This allows piracy of original files and sharing of those files as a torrent with multiple users.

Passwords are the words you pass on to your computer in order to open the locked doors. We all know that, we use it in our everyday life. Thinking about a password and remembering it should not beverydifficultbutthestatisticsaren’tthathappy.Statssay64%havewrittendowntheirpasswordatleastonce,70%ofpeopledonotuseuniquepasswordforeachWebsiteandaround82%haveforgotten the password used on the Web site. Now these are just not some boring numbers but it shows us what we think about passwords.
Let’sseethetoppasswordsofalltime.
The image is a tag cloud of top 500 passwords, here the size of a password is dependent on its frequency.Itmeansthatthemostcommonpasswordsare“password”,”123456”,”12345678”,”qwerty”,etc.
So what’s the problem now? The problem is thinking about a word other than my pet’s name, my favourite dish, dob, phone number. These words aren’t very secure to be your password. Now if your password is only 6 character long and you can’t remember big passwords don’t feel sad we will make your password more secure without making it harder to remember and we will not use magic.
If youGoogle“passwordbestpractices”andresearchtomakeyourpasswordmoresecure,youinfer most of the people prefer passwords like F$u@t!9a1u3a and say it is very secure but extremely difficulttorememberforahuman,Iwillcommentonthispassword’ssecuritylater.
We have a simple relationship between secure passwords and how hard it is to remember them. Securepasswordisn’teasytorememberandeasytorememberpasswordisn’tsecure.So,Ifinallyintroducemymaintopic“Para-PhrasePassword(PPP)Generator”,itisbig,scary,longanddoesn’tsoundveryfriendly.If Iwouldmakethistopicmyheadlineyouwouldn’treachthisfar.BeforewecontinueIwouldliketosaythatyoujustread337wordsandyoucanclapforyourselfwithabigsmile.
Forgot Password ?
49The following comic strip says what Para-Phrase Password (PPP) Generator means.
The very secure password “F$u@t!9a1u3a” isn’t that secure but if we take “no knowledge equals high ego” it is very secure. I will be honest it will take you 1.24 hundred trillion trillion centuries assuming one hundred trillion guesses per second, I can’t imagine so many eggs, if you found out how many eggs were in the basket save me the trouble and mail me. Visit http://passphra.se and click on generate until u make your own paraphrase, it is fun and worth your precious Facebook time.
So your new passwords will now be very secure and easy to remember. There is another advantage for long password, people who type slowly it is very easy for others to read the characters and then. So if you keep long passwords with spaces in-between the common words the other guys may lose track and you are safe.Passwords will become obsolete in near future, Google is already working on physical devices which will work as your password. Till then PPPs are good choice and I always wanted to make a tool that would automate your thinking process and deliver PPP you want in your native language(in English).
