A list of conventions that would be shown on a Magazine advert are:- Release dates- Websites- Images- Reviews including star ratings- Social networking links for the band- Name of album they are advertising- Record label- Link of image to album cover

Here I have done some research into what a magazine advert consists of and how this research can help us, even if its just for inspiration and an understanding of what they consist of and what is expected.

I have managed to find the music advert for Cassie’s first album which features the single ‘ME & U’. The first image has the same image of her on the CD. The artist’s name is shown at the top in big bold letters. The release date of the album is shown which is a common convention used.
