INTRODUCTION
The claim group consists of 73 unpatented mining claims, eight (8) of which are included in this report.
January 5, 2000, Picket line 1+OOE from the 1997 grid (Gwen Resources) was recut and two men chained to be used as the new East ba seline for a distance of 2000 meters. Picket lines were turned off the new baseline every 100 meters and stations established every 25 meters. The new detail grid is being read by both magnetometer and VLF-EM Surveys to help define the East/West contacts found in the original grid.
The linecutting and chaining was performed by Mr. Paul Si ford and crew.
The magnetometer survey was performed by Miss Wendy K. Weller, the electromagnetic survey was performed by J. Hennessey. All drafting, contouring and report writing was done by Miss Wendy K. Weller.
Ownership of the aforementioned unpatented mining claims has been attested to by 559505 Ontario Ltd., Mr. Alexander H. Perron, and The Perron Gold Corp., and was not independently ascertained by the writer.
LOCATION AND ACCESS
Highway 672, better known as the Harker-Holloway Road, extends north-south across the eastern boundary of the mapped area. The property is therefore reached from Kirkland Lake by travelling 13 km east on Highway 66, then 36 km north on 672 to the claims. Conversely, the claims may be reached by travelling 45 km east from Matheson on Highway 101 and then 14 km south on 672. (See Figure la) and Figure Id).

The majority of the property has been logged, and second growth consisting of tag alder and/or willow is present. Some of the logged area has been sprayed in order to stop the growth of deciduous trees and shrubs. Considerable areas have been replanted with pine. A few stands of spruce have been spared; generally cedar swamp have been left uncut.
Relief over the claims does not exceed 20 or 25 meters. The terrain is flat to gently rolling to rugged with the development of cliffs.
GENERAL GEOLOGY
(OGS-Geology) of Thackeray, Elliott, Tannahill and Dokis Townships)by L. S. Jensen states ((The area is underlain by Early Pre cambrian (Archean) volcanic rocks. Northeast trending diabase dikes of Middle to Late Precambrian age intrude the volcanic rocks.))
The tholeiitic volcanic rocks occur in.Elliott Township. The theoleiitic sequence is composed of three rock types, low-iron, magnesium rich tholeiitic basalt, iron-rich tholeiitic basalt and tholeiitic rhyolite.
Table of Lithologic Units for Elliott Township. (See Figure le).
INSTRUMENTATION
Magnetometer Survey:
This system uses a backward motion of spinning protons of a hydrogen atom within fluid of hydrogen and carbon. These spinning magnetic protons are caused to have two opposite poles by applying a magnetic fluid using a current within a coil of wire. This frequency of precision is proportional to the earth's total magnetic field.

Th1s instrument is read directly in gammas which is the absolute value of the earth's total field for that station.
The diurnal variation was monitored by closing each loop at any secondary check station, at a grid line, baseline Intersection. Diurnal corrections were applied by linear distribution of any obser ved variation over the time between base stations.
Electromagnetic Surveyj
The VLF-EM method uses as a source, several of the main submarine comrninucations transmitters in the 15 to 25 kHz band found throughout the world.
The submarine communication radio waves -travel in a single mode parallel to the surfaces of the earth slong the earth-air interace.
VLF Instruments are capable of picking up any structures that change the direction of the waves by measuring the tilt angle being zero on flat ground, but when a conductor is present, the tilt angle will acquire a finite value. The direction of tilt indicates tha direction of .tha conductor.
Calculations of .such parameters as depth, depth extent, dip and width of the conductors is very minimal.
The VLF easily Illustrates the location of the upper limit of dipping structures which can be seen or plotted as VLF profiles as areas of greatest change in tilt angle per unit of distance.
The instrument used for this survey was a Geonics EM-16 Unit. The sensitivity of this unit is 12 for the inphase and 12 for the quadrature. The operating frequency for the EM-16 from 15-25 kHz and the station is made by plug-in units.
Further information on the VLF and the magnetometer can be found in the back of this report on the Technical Data and Assessment forms.
PRESENTATION AND DISCUSSION OF RESULTS
i) Magnetometer Survey 1998: .(•••MIBBW***"**™*'^*****^*'^"^'""'"*' ' '
The field data is presented on Map No. SO-G/2000/Mmg at a scale of 1:50,000 found in the back pocket of this report.
The magnetic data is illustrated as isomagneticcontours, contour intervals 100 gammas, on a map of correctedmagnetic values recorded at each station.
-4-
The magnetic relief ranges from 57,502 gammas to 58,334! gammas (difference of 832 gammas).
The magnetic trend is in a northeast to east direction.
This small section of the new north grid shows the con tact between the large low magnetic system and a smaller linear high magnetic band.
At the present time the completion of the new grid is under way and the overall magnetic view will be assessed at that time.
i i) Electromagnetic Survey:
The field data is presented on the map N0.50-G/2000/NV1f found at the back of this report. The map is drawn at the scale of 1:50000 meters. Further information pertaining to the instrument used, please refer to the Technical Data sheet at the back of this report.
In this small section of the new grid there are two distinctive contacts found.
C3 - Crosses PL1100E 1350N to PL1400E 1440N.The topography of the area is flat to a small slope to the north. The area is mostly covered in a small thick cedar swamp. The contact follows the magnetic trend of the area, suggesting the contact is related to the magnetic suscepti bility in the underlying and adjacent rock.
C4 - Crosses PL1100E 1125N to PL1300E 1150N.This contact sits on the south edge of one of the low magnetic bands. The contact crosses the north edge of a deposit of sand, gravel and erratics, left from the retreat of the Wisconsinan glacier. The quadrature is negative, the direction of the contact is in the same direction of the magnetic trend (northeast).
OBSERVATIONS AND CONCLUSIONS
This report is covering a very small amount of the new grid, at the present time the completion of the new north grid is ongoing.
The Electromagnetic Survey is being run through a computer program (Fraser Filter) to help eliminate background noise.
Respectfully submitted,
February 15, 2000 Miss Wendy K. WellerGeotech
