    WHO WE AREMacmillan Cancer Support, Chesterfield Royal Hospital, the National Garden Scheme and the people of North Derbyshire worked together to open the NGS Macmillan Unit in 2017.The Macmillan Information and Support Centre is located in the entrance of the NGS Macmillan Unit. The centre offers advice and information to anyone affected by cancer. You can drop in to the centre to meet the staff and volunteers who will help you find the information and support you need. Our information and support services are available to anyone in North Derbyshire. WHAT WE OFFER• a warm welcome• confidential one to one support• an up-to-date range of information about cancer• access to Look Good Feel Better service• access to psychology service• links to national and local support groups• signposting to welfare and benefits advisors• access to a wig service• access to a headstrong service (scarf and hat advice if you are

    facing hair loss)• access to Health and Wellbeing events after cancer treatment• opportunity to talk to staff about your Holistic Needs Assessment

    and Care Plan• access to a range of physical activities.
