Welcome to 2019! For those who haven’t met me, I am the Learning Support Teacher here at Luddenham PS. This year I will be working in all classes across the school providing direct and mely assistance to students with addi onal learning and support needs and their teachers on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. At mes I will work with individual students whilst at other mes I will target small groups. You might see me working with students in the classrooms, outside in the playground, in the office building or in the library. The classroom teacher and I will decide the most appropriate physical learning environment to best meet the students’ needs. If you have new concerns about your child, please feel free to speak with the classroom teacher first who will then communicate with me. Together we will inves gate the issues raised, talk with you and then develop a plan of ac on.
I am looking forward to partnering with you on your child’s learning journey.

This term the school will be conduc ng a 4 week Basketball Program. The program will offer the children a unique and enjoyable experience where they will learn a variety of skills taken from across the NSW PDHPE Curriculum, and further develop their fitness and apprecia on of a healthy and ac ve lifestyle.
Each session will run for approximately 40 minutes. The program caters for children in all classes from Kindergarten to Year 6, and teaches and builds upon a range of skills appropriate to each child’s par cular stage of development through challenging and exci ng games and ac vi es.
In previous years, the cost per student for a 10 week program was $10, however this year we have been successful in obtaining government funding again so the program is FREE!
When the note comes home, please send back the permission note ASAP.

The Luddenham Show will be held on the 17th and

other opportuni es for the children (and parents)
to par cipate in categories that either can't be done
at school or are not prac cal, for example cooking
