PIPE FREEZES PipeFreezes,alsoknownasFreezeSeals,area very coolway to temporarily freeze a sectionof your piping system. Freezing the line is anon-invasive and non-contaminating pipelineprocess that does not come in contact withyour line content during the procedure. Mostindustrialandcommercialapplications involvingvalve replacements, system maintenance andmodifications can benefit from the use of PipeFreezes. Theability tomake repairs,alterationsor relocationswithout a complete shutdownorcostlydraindownmakePipeFreezesaquickandcosteffectiveapplication. Pipe Freezes are performed by isolating thepipelinewithapipe freeze jacket that isboltedontothelinetobefrozen.Liquidnitrogenisthenreleased into the pipe freeze jacket, allowing asolidiceplugtoform.OurPipeFreezetechnicianssafelymaintainandmonitorthisiceplugwhichisheldinthelinebyfeedingliquidnitrogenintothefreezejacketwhilethenecessaryrepairsarebeingperformed.
